The Prime Minister of Bosnia’s Republika Srpska (RS) entity, Radovan Viskovic, and neighbouring Serbia’s Interior Minister, Aleksandar Vulin, discussed the situation in BiH in Banja Luka on Wednesday with the latter reiterating Serbia’s support for the RS.

Viskovic and Vulin assessed that “cooperation between the Republika Srpska and Serbia is excellent and comprehensive” and discussed the possibilities of its further improvement through the implementation of new joint projects.

“The Prime Minister of the Republika Srpska Radovan Viskovic pointed out that strengthening the fraternal ties between the Republika Srpska and Serbia is of vital interest to the population on both sides of the Drina River, and thanked the Serbian leadership for continuous assistance and support to the Republika Srpska and its development,” the RS Government said in a statement.

Vulin and VIskovic emphasised at the meeting that the “Bratoljub” bridge, which was recently ceremoniously opened, “enabled even stronger connections, and opened a new development perspective for the citizens of this area.”

“Minister Aleksandar Vulin pointed out that Serbia, as before, will continue to help the Republika Srpska, and that caring for the Serbian people outside the borders of Serbia is one of the most important priorities of Serbia,” the statement said.
