A protest of medical workers in Bosnia and Herzegovina's southern city of Mostar has turned into a minor incident on Monday after the still unidentified person(s) infiltrated the crowd and physically attacked the protesters.

The police swiftly intervened and apprehended the perpetrator(s).

The healthcare workers of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton (HNC) launched protests calling the cantonal prime minister Nevenko Herceg to remove healthcare minister Goran Opsenica and his assistant Antonio Vujica, finding them the main culprits for the lack of the collective agreement between the government and workers in the healthcare sector.

The protesters announced they would set up tents in front of the HNC Government's seat and staying there until their requests are met.
