A group of citizens that gathered via social networks has announced a peaceful protest in front of the Office of the High Representative (OHR) on Monday, demanding from the international envoy among other things to establish the rule of law in the country and use all his competencies to make sure the laws are obeyed.

The organisers said that all those who come to the gathering, scheduled for 10 a.m., are not allowed to wear any clothes or items that would suggest their political affiliation, or to carry banners with insulting messages.

“Let's take to the streets in a dignified and peaceful manner and express our views, our demands for those whom the Constitutions obliges to act, with an aim to protect the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina,” the organisers said, adding that they expect Christian Schmidt, the current High Representative in BiH, to address them.

They also addressed five demands to the UN Security Council, asking for the full support to the High Representative, who is expected among other things to establish the rule of law in the country, annul all decisions and laws that undermine BiH's sovereignty, territorial integrity and its international subjectivity, and to sanction those who deliberately spread fear and panic among citizens.

The organisers also welcomed the letter that European parliamentarians sent last week to the High Representative and European Union's Josep Borrell, asking them to take action over the situation in BiH.
