Bosnian Serb Presidency member Milorad Dodik said Sunday that the Serb-dominated region of Republika Srpska will donate 1,000 Sputnik V vaccines to the south Bosnian city of Mostar.

Earlier we sent 500 vaccines from the RS and now we've agreed to send another 1,000 with a wish to help the residents of Mostar, above all, to help our people,“ Dodik said after a meeting with the Mostar local leadership of the party he leads – the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD).

Sanja Djurasovic, a doctor at the Mostar Health Centre thanked Dodik on the speed and love for the Mostar citizens.

“There's a great interest in Mostar for this vaccine so we decided to ask for another donation of the Sputnik V vaccine,” Djurasovic said.
