Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic handed a valuable donation to Bosnian Presidency Chairman Milorad Dodik, Tuesday, consisting of 30 ventilators and 10,000 face masks, Srna news agency reported, adding that the donation was meant for Bosnia's Republika Srpska (RS) entity.
Vucic said they are donating this equipment to the RS because Serbia wants to help the current situation so they could jointly oppose this great threat.
Dodik said he asked for help because the entity is seeing a great number of patients needing hospitalization.
“I asked Vucic for help because the RS saw a rise in infections and people needing hospitalization and these respirators are necessary for equipping additional 400 beds for Covid patients,” Dodik noted.
He concluded that Serbia showed regional leadership in the fight against the coronavirus and that it continues to help the RS.
