Slovenian government decided during Wednesday’s session to donate 100,620 Pfizer vaccines, following Bosnia’s humanitarian aid request for the fight against Covid-19.

Slovenian Government sent a request to the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to do everything necessary to implement humanitarian aid while authorizing Minister Janez Poklukar to sign contract documents between Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and BioNTech/Pfizer.

The National Institute of Public Health is in charge of preparing the vaccine for transport and hand-over to the recipient, which will be determined by the competent BiH ministry, N1 Slovenia reported.

Slovenia also donated 48,000 doses of AstraZeneca to Bosnia at the end of June.
