Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, stated in Istanbul on Saturday, after the meeting with the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, that the friendship between Belgrade and Ankara is an additional guarantee of stability and preservation of peace in the entire Western Balkans.

Vucic told the press that he expects Erdogan to visit Serbia by the end of the year, adding that it would be an opportunity for the two sides to additionally discuss important issues for the Balkans.

He said that he talked with Erdogan about all the regional issues, relations in the Western Balkans, and political and all other relations between Serbia and Turkey.

“We also talked about certain things that I would not like to inform the public about,” Vucic stated.

The Serbian President noted that he raised the issue of the faster flow of goods and services between the two countries.

“We will discuss how to cross our borders with the least possible documents and thus establish our friendship at a higher level,” Vucic stated.
