Speaking after the game, head coach Adis Beciragic thanked the fans who packed the Skenderija hall and supported the team throughout the match.

“We wasted a lot of energy but we played well for a bigger part of the match and that's why we won,” he said.

Beciragic also praised his players for gathering the strength after the second fourth and playing excellent game in the third fourth.

“A wonderful victory, the fans gave us 30 percent of the energy and it won't be like this in the EuroBasket,” said Beciragic, referring to the European championship that starts in Germany in a few days.
