A day after the award ceremony, the 27th Sarajevo Film Festival officially closed Friday evening with the screening of the film 'Toma' by Serbian filmmaker Dragan Bjelogrlic, which saw its world premiere in the Bosnian capital.

The film crew arrived on the red carpet alongside other regional celebrities who attended the festival's last evening.

“We put a lot of effort, strength and emotions into this film. It seems like you managed to feel the film's emotion. I cannot describe the happiness I am feeling tonight. Thank you very much,” said Dragan Bjelogrlic, the film director.

“TOMA is an impressionist film about the life of (late singer and composer) Toma Zdravkovic, from childhood to stardom, tracing the loves that inspired him to compose some of his greatest hits and his many friendships with people from the art world of the former Yugoslavia. Along with Toma’s life, the film traces the lives of many well known artists from that period: Zoran Radmilović, Mika Antić, Tozovac and others. TOMA is a biopic about Toma Zdravkovic, the man not only remembered for his songs but also for his bohemian lifestyle and soul,” said the film description on the SFF's official website.
